Case No. 09-001-R: Ponderosa Forest
Description
The client perceived occasional shadow movements, doors opening by themselves and reactions from pets to something unseen in the home. Over the course of a year, activity escalated to a television turning on by itself and the feeling of a presence in a particular room upstairs. During the month prior to the investigation, the client experienced an olfactory presence strong enough to wake him and his wife from sleep upstairs, lights turning on in the family room, an invisible interaction the Christmas tree and gifts and an apparition manifesting outside the house.
Investigation
The psychic initiated the investigation with a walk-through of the first floor where he reported the residual effects of activity. Upon going up to the second floor, he indicated the presence of an entity in a particular room just off the stairs and its possible relocation to the adjacent room. Investigators conducted EVP sessions in those rooms and recorded the sessions with video cameras.
Analysis
Video revealed an orb that appeared to interact with investigators. An audio recording produced a possible C class EVP.
Reveal
A report was issued to the client immediately after the investigation. The client confirmed the locations of activity. The determination was made that the haunting was "intelligent" and emanating from the ghost of a once-living female.
Action
In the interest of harmony and comfort in the home, at the client's request, a clearing and cleansing of the home was performed and the ghost was dispatched.
Conclusion
As of this posting, the client reports no further activity.

Case No.09-004-R: Village of Cochran's Crossing
Description
The client reported footsteps on the second floor traveling from a bathroom to one of the children's rooms, a shadow figure in the same bathroom from where the footsteps emanate, a powerfully oppressive feeling reported by another of the children in their room, an oppressive feeling in the master bedroom directly below it, the toddler appearing to engage in play with an unseen entity, objects disappearing and reappearing elsewhere, sometimes in unusual locations, and the apparition of a little boy in various areas of the house and a child's voice calling for its mother. The apparition of the little boy was also witnessed by guests of the family during a party which triggered the call to Bayou City Paranormal to investigate. At the intake interview, we learned the house had been blessed by a priest who was a friend of the family visiting for consecutive overnight stays, and, alarmingly, one of the client's parents had visited for a 4-month period during which time they engaged in occult practices. The client requested the house be cleared if possible.
Investigation
Investigators were given no information prior to the investigation; only the case managers had access to information from the intake interview. All investigators were kept completely in the dark. The psychic and director were the first to enter the house while it was vacant. Without prior knowledge of any activity, the psychic confirmed most of what the client had revealed plus other things the client was unaware of until she later researched and confirmed with her children. The psychic reported an entity evading him from floor to floor such that as the psychic attempted to locate it on one floor, the entity would emerge on another floor. At one point, as two investigators entered the residence to begin their portion of the investigation, they both heard a child's voice. Unfortunately, it was at the rear door where cameras were not present and their digital recorders were not yet set to record. During another investigative portion, one of the investigators attempted to provoke for responses which another investigator was receiving in his mind, much to his confusion and alarm. Several investigators reported strong and oppressive feelings in one of the children's bedroom, confirming the client's report. A clearing to remove the entity was attempted and thought to be successful, however, the client reported an escalation of activity subsequent to the investigation.
Analysis
Video review revealed an orb seeming to counteract with the psychic medium on multiple occasions such that as he would go up or down the stairs, the orb would fly past him in the opposite direction. No shadow figures or apparitions were captured but noises were heard on recordings. Most of the activity consisted of personal experiences.
Reveal
We met with the client after the investigation to discuss what had been found and do more in-depth interviews. What seemed to be at work was more than just a ghost but an inhuman entity projecting a harmless apparition of a child while maintaining its grip on some of the children through fear tactics. At the reveal, team members were instrumental in guiding the client and her family to confront suppressed issues that tormented the family and kept them in chaos and at odds with each other.
Action
Metaphysical procedures coupled with spiritual cleansing and family empowerment to overcome their suppressed obstacles and take control of their environment served to remove the entity and brought a feeling of peace to the home.
Conclusion
Months later, family members expressed their gratitude and reported no further activity and a restorative claim to their home.
